Frequently Asked Questions

Generally, no. While we may be able to provide a very rough “ballpark” estimate, there are many different factors that influence our bids, and we are unable to provide a fixed price without seeing the job in person. No two jobs are alike, and other than the overall surface area, we also consider the condition of the surfaces, extent of prep work needed, desired colors, access to the work area, etc.

Generally, no. Star Pro Paining offers fixed-price bids, therefore price increases only occur when you ask for us to perform additional work that is not covered in the original contract. Unforeseen circumstances do arise once in a while, such as damage to the surface(s) that was not apparent at the initial site visit, or the addition of bold colors that require additional coats/labor. In any case, we strive to keep you updated on the status of your job and you will be informed in the event that unforeseen circumstances arise. We also do not perform additional work not covered in the contract without your approval.

Our estimates cover all necessary materials and labor to complete the job to your specifications, unless explicitly stated otherwise. This includes all of the thorough preparation we perform on your surfaces for the best-looking and longest-lasting paint job possible. In addition, our estimates include a 2-year warranty should your paint job fail within the warranty period.

We strive to provide the highest level of quality in our work. If you are not satisfied, our job is not truly complete. We are happy to return to the worksite to ensure we have provided the level of quality we strive for and promise. In the event of a problem that cannot be remedied, talk with us and we’ll see what we can do, whether it be a discount, refund, etc.

We accept cash and checks, as well as all major credit cards. There is a 2% fee applied to any credit card payments.
